Most people probably know about Care2 already, but I would just like to point out a few of the best features.

You can click to donate daily, sign or start petitions and send free e-cards that help save the environment.

If you sign up and log in every day, you help, if you comment or send a ‘green star’ to someone you are doing something to help.

You get what is called ‘credits’ which can be used to pay for different causes. For instance, you can pay for food for shelter animals, plant a tree, offset carbon and much, much more.

I thought I’d do a post about how to start using Second Life. There are other 3D worlds (for instance InWorldz) and I’ve actually used another too, OSGrid, but that was a few years ago, and I never got very far there. At the time, it was very much like SL but far less evolved. So this will be about joining SL (becoming a ‘resident’).
